Kennedy

Kennedy is a PhD candidate in the UC San Diego Department of Political Science. Her research interests include Internet censorship and information control operations with a specific focus on Internet restrictions in Sudan. Her current work uses experimental and survey research to highlight how certain cyber and censorship approaches are being used to create short-term internal attribution problems amongst populations. Kennedy’s work analyzes longitudinal cross-national data on Internet restrictions and has been published by the ACM’s SIGCOMM. Kennedy received her BA in Political Science from Spelman College and her MA in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego.
