Anabella Afra Boateng

Anabella (Bella) Afra Boateng is a third year doctoral student in the Sociology of Education program at NYU Steinhardt. Her ultimate research goal aims to understand how Black students in urban spaces use emerging technologies in their learning and in their imagination of a future that is inclusive of their many selves and cultures. As such, she uses Black geographies, Black education traditions and technocultures to craft her emerging scholarship.
